Hi Jason,

My understanding is that you will be OK...for the most part. From what I've read, you take existing applications and generate Active docuiments from them via a wizard. The trick is the data access. It does not work as it does in straight applications. You need to update all of the DE's and such to make connections to data sources on or through your web server.

I've not looked any further than this at it, however we have a VFP5 app we are looking at doing this with. Again, to answer your question, there must be some kind of wizard that will read a projects forms and form classes and convert them into the Active Document.

HTH,
Phil

My question is this, do I have to start over from scratch b/c I didn't build my application from the start based on the active document base class? Or, am I ok where I am -- and I can start creating active documents with my current in my current project?
