Foxpro is contrary.

VFP is supposed to store the state of forms, class libraries, etc. in the project (.pjx) file. That way it knows what needs to be recompiled. That's one of the principal reasons for using an IDE. Sometimes, however, the .pjx loses its mind. If it's real bad you will get the dread "project invalid" error message.

How long since you packed your .pjx file? Try packing it to clear up all the garbage it has accumulated. Use menu "project/clean up project" followed by "project/refresh". This may make a difference.

I usually just pack it from the command window once in a while with

use myproject.pjt exclusive
pack
use

Also hang around for a while. The folks who really know this stuff are waking up about now. So you should get some more ideas.
