I am thinking of setting up a programming retreat in northern Brazil (my brother lives over there). It's really hot there all year round - problem is with plenty of deserted beaches staying in to do some programming may be a bit difficult. The good thing is that building over there is really cheap.

Alongside the main recruitment application I'm writing for my own company I am looking to set up a few marketing type applications - a prospect manager, sales/response analysis system and customer profiling. I'll be working with someone who specialises in mathematical stats and modeling, predicting purchasing behaviour and all that.

I will be working in SQL Server (I've yet to learn that!) and VFP.

Some of the stuff is quite advanced, some is really simple.

We really must meet up - FoxPro bods based in the UK are few and far between - I try to keep in touch with quite a few, you never know when contacts come in useful...
