What is a "Cursor base table"? If you mean a table opened up in the DE, you can use the Order property of the Cursor to set order to a given index tag. You can also use SET ORDER TO command if opening the table manually. If it's a cursor created via SQL, you can use the ORDER clause in the SQL statement. IF it's a child table, you can use the ChildOrder property of the Grid.
