Great thanks for Your replies, excuse me for sending a foreign languaged message, I symply thunk that only Russian VFP programmers had encountered with that bug, and I hoped they are visit this site more frequently.

About SET COLLATE TO MACHINE - I can't use this mode because our users need to view the data in the Russian alphabetical order, and every index tag built at the character fields is built using a Russian collating sequence.
