Thanks for answering. This is something I knew. There's a acknowledged bug with the itemtips. When you set it to .T. you might get this error. Guess what? I have my itemtips set to .F. for all my combos: one less problem.
The story I am talking about seems not related to combos. In this case this is a simple textbox that claims for its controlsource. For one reason or another, with the runtime, the events seem not to fire in the same order when destroying a form.
