Hi Jason ----

While I haven't implemented anything yet with Active Docs, my understanding is that you have to have a class based on the ActiveDoc base class in your project and set in to Main. You normal "Main.PRG" code setting up your menus, READ EVENTS, et al should be put into the Run event of the ActiceDocument class.

From then on, your app can run as is AFAIK. You don't need to use special forms or whatnot...now, a client to an ActiveDocument application needs to have a special runtime that's passed over the web automatically but it can take time.......

I have not created any forms yet. I guess what I am aksing, is if I am still in a position to create active documents and make it all work, without starting over. I have never done this before, so it's like walking in a pitch black room searching for a door. I guess that is half the fun... finding the light after working at it for a while!

My interpretation on what it is saying is that Active Documents are just like a regular FoxPro application.....just a little different. It is implying they are two distinct applications, created in two seperate ways.
