Maybe others can benefit from this observation:

We had a customer, running our VFP6.0 application on NT, that would often experience the infamous C000005 crash when she performed an operation that did little more than selecting a picture file (via GetPict()).

We then made her a version that used GetFile() instead of GetPict(), and now she doesn't seem to experience the crash anymore.
I'm not going to jump to conclusions since I don't really know what trigged the bug ("Fatal Error: Exception code=C0000005" and something with vfp6r.dll) and it hasn't been tested for long, but maybe some of you can enlighten me (and Microsoft).
