Many thanks to those of you who responded to my message! It seems that indeed I was running a Diamond Viper 550 card and just needed to upgrade the drivers. After visiting their web site, I found that they had released new drivers for Win98 due to screen freezes while using AOL 4.0. Looks like it affected VFP6 also!

>You might want to search the U.T. for messages on video driver conflicts. That's been discussed a lot in the past few weeks. There are some video cards which may just not work with VFP 6.0 (Diamond?). May depend (like Roxanne mentioned) on making sure you have the correct latest driver, though hopefully you would on a newer machine.
