I have never used x-works, so can't tell you much there except what I've read.

But I have fairly extensive experience with WWWC, and cannot give it enough praise. The product is very powerful, and very extensive. All of the interfaces are nearly self explanatory, and you are given enough flexibility to extend it beyond the author's original intentions. Rick is the best in the business as far as I am concerned, with knowledge, and with customer support.
