>Anyone know of a way to trick the Setup Wizard from finding a copy of setup.stf so that instead of trying to "reinstall" the app, the user can install a "brand new" copy someplace else? We've tried to run our own exe during the install to remove setup.stf ourselves but it always reappears at the end of the install. Our system requires the possibility of the app being installed to two different directories. We're using VFP6. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

There is a registry entry as well as setup.stf as I remember. If you really want to hide the evidence of the install, write a wrapper around the Setup Wizard install (I use InstallShield) and have it rip out the SETUP.STF file after Setup Wizard finishes; you might be able to do this from within a post-setup executable, or have a post-setup executable write a RunOnce key to do a delete of the file in the registry and force a reboot at the end of your post-setup executable.
