I'm pretty sure SP2 includes whatever was in SP1 (I'm sure someone will jump in here if I'm wrong). From what I understand, the Visual Studio Service Packs don't majorly affect VFP, But the big fixes available to date are the VFP patches that are separate (read "not included") in the Visual Studio Service Packs.

Also worth noting here (even though I haven't experienced it extensively), VFP is very sensitive to old or out-dated video drivers. I've seen alot of video driver related traffic here lately, but personally I got bitten by vid driver bugs since FPD so it's second nature for me to look at vid driver first whenever something extremely weird & frustrating pops up.
