Is there any way to optimize a routine which compares 50 fields from one table to 50 fields from another table of similar structure. I have tried concatonating the fields and doing a little SQL with NOT IN subselect and there has to be a better way. The two tables have the same structure and I want to campare all 50 fields for any changes. I originally wrote a SCAN loop which was really slow. I have 30,000 +/- records also. Any suggestions are welcome. tia
