Hi All,

Is it true that with SQL Server 6.5 we cannot use Negative Values in a Numeric Data Type?? Our DBA Claims this to be true in Both SQL Server 6.5 and Sybase. He suggested using Floats or Currency.

When we place Negative Values into the Numeric Data Type we get an Update Conflict on our remote views so he seems to have somthing there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
