Not necessarily... IIS with West-Wind's Web Connection allows this to happen in the middle tier. I'm also checking out Ken Levy's DBF2RS code (from the ATS Web example) that allows for DBF to ADO recordset conversion on the fly.

I have, and I agree that it's a great book.

However, I'd still like to get some feedback from you or others on the number of users VFP will support (especially in a "connectionless" IIS scenario).
