What you are asking about is quite a problem in VFP, applies to controls in grids and pages in pageframes too. I asked a similar question in Message Number 188669 this morning in the hope there is a new and better way, and had no replies, but you can't blame these guys. The best workarounds I have seen so far are mentioned in the thread containing Message Number 149628. So they have answered this thoroughly already.

Those solutions aren't perfect but perhaps good enough to help you.

It would seem nice to have a way to set the class of contained objects like buttons in the Form Designer someday!
