Hopefully that is not the case. What person could possibly need to be able to review 100K records at once? Certainly they would target some subset of the data for viewing. Now, reporting would be another animal...summary totals and the like could very likely need to crunch thru all the records, but with a decent server and backend processing it shouldn't take that long unless you are joining several tables for your report. If so, it may be time to look at multi processor machines, upper end AS/400's and the like.
