You're right.

In that case:

DECLARE G_ICCPresent IN V100_32.DLL INTEGER ChannelNB, STRING @ Response

will work, since Intel machines represent integer daata types Little Endian, the low-order bytes occur first, and the two high-order bytes will be ignored.
