I spoke with Jan several years ago and, though my memory is very sketchy, I believe we discussed him making the stuff available as Foxpro libraries.

Tech Hackers has been one of the only analytic providers I can think of that really seems to have a clue. The pricing issue may depend on their concern about how you're going to use and distribute their stuff. Also, as the company has grown up, they've learned to get well-capitalized banks and financial institutions to pay them gobs of money for their services -- so they may be wanting to see how much you've got.
