Mesa - if you want to test for a Cancel button Hacker's Guide recommends testing , in your loop, for SYS(1270) which tests for MDown(). If that goes .t. then you issue a DoEvents. They say the DoEvents can really slow down some loops but the Sys(1270) doesn't have much impact.
