I remember is as "on worth the paper it
wasn't printed on." But its the same idea.
Actually, as I indicated earlier. If you perform work with your customer's knowledge, the courts are going to, in most cases, bend over backwards to find a contract rather than let your work go unrewared -- even if the contract is verbal. You may not, however, get all the reward you claim -- and you will probably get a homily about the stupidity of not using a written contract.
