Some of the zip files that I downloaded from Flash creative is corrupted. The corrupted files are addprop.zip and cdbkstep.zip. Anyone had them, please email them to me at vsimsn@pacific.net.sg

Hi,

One of my first visual foxpro jobs was maintaining an application using codebook 3.0. The application was actually developed at Flash. At the time I had no experience with codebook and there was little documentation. I eventually lost the job because the company did not have the resources to train me. Shortly after they let me go the company went under. I would never have learned codebook at all if it were not for the mere mortals framework. The documentation is excellent. The Flash framework is getting better in terms of documentation, but it will never equal the Mere Mortals documentation. The Flash framework includes tons of libraries that are hardly documented at all. I recommend starting with Mere Mortals and then delving into the Flash version when you have a good grounding in the codebook methodology.

I find that the Mere Mortals version of codebook has all the functionality I need for almost any situation. It just takes time to get to know the code.

Hope this helps.
