I just finished the second of Rick Strahl's excellent articles in the March FoxPro Advisor on "Calling Visual FoxPro COM Objects from Visual C++". I'm just starting to get serious with COM, and I'm curious about something...

In the low level access example, late binding (IDispatch) was used. If I wanted to combine the low overhead of low-level COM with early binding on a VFP component, would it be possible?

I'm guessing I'd have to reverse-MIDL the .TLB file or roll my own IDL to make this work. (or steal it from the OLE/COM Object Viewer) If I knew the method names & parameters for my VFP component, would this work? I'd appreciate any advice
