My company is currently running Terminal Server with citrix Metaframe as an add on for DOS based PC's.

To quote from a KB article re: Citrix WinFrame: (ver. prev. to MetaFrame)

"Visual FoxPro does not perform like a true Windows application because it does not utilize basic Windows primitives to create it's screen display. When FoxPro places a box onto the screen, it actually draws the box"

The article then describes some screen guidelines to overcome these "ill-behaved painting issues" such as limiting screen colors, limit actions to 25% of the active screen area....

From testing done here form refresh etc. with VFP via terminal server is slow!

My real question is, Has anyone out there developed apps. running under terminal server and how have you overcome these speed issues ?
