Hi Bob,

Ed has much more *relevant* to say about this stuff, but nevertheless. . .

The reason I mentioned networking was some conflicting stuff I have read on the subject between Win95/98. One item, when OSR2 was released actually, stated that FAT32 would be a problem if one machine was non-OSR2 and the other was. I seem to remember it was more aimed a larger drives. But then I read in Win98 Help that there is no problem networking Win98/95 as far as FAT32 was concerned, Take your pick.

You se "signs" of impending doom and a re-boot at that time prevents failure. Could that not still be a overheating problem? A boot would 'refresh' RAM that was starting to be affected by the situation, as well as possibly changing other things. I wonder if you'd get a diff. situation if you ran with covers off for a while, just to see what happens.

Again, good luck
