Hi Kevin,

It sounds like there's a problem with the actual bitmap. It could be that it was created in 24 bit color and is being run on a machine that's set up for 16 bit or less. I've never seen this, but I'd check the number of colors the machine is set on, then the number of colors of the bitmap. FWIW, I always use 16 color bmps, and disabled buttons appear as they're supposed to.
