Wscript.Shell is one of the Automation Objects that make up the Windows Scripting Host; it's a part of Win98 ands NT5/Win2K, and can be added to any of the Win9x and WinNT systems by using WSH.EXE, which is available for download from Microsoft's Web site. There are some tremendous capabilities provided in the WSH, both in terms of automation objects like Wscript.Shell, Wscript.Network and Scripting.FileSystemObject, and with the WSCRIPT.EXE, which can be used to execute scripts that contain VBScript, JScript or any of several other scripting options provided through further add-ons.
