>That is a great idea, James. At least one such an animal already exists in the form of a book entitled "Software Development, a Legal Guide" by Stephen Fishman (NOLO Press). As the title says, it's written specifically for software developers and it comes with a CD that includes boilerplate contract language you can cut and paste. As an independent developer, I've found it to be an indespensible resource. I would be interested in your opinion of it, as an attorney, though.
Rick,
I have seen references to the book in several places, but have not yet read it. I will though, if only to make certain I do not step on the writer's toes in whatever I develop. Thanks for the tip off.
regards,
Jim Edgar
