Ok. So, I am using SQL passthrough to update the Access table. This would use a SQLEXEC(..., "UPDATE bla-bla", ...), right? Would this still use my relation between my dbf and the remote view? If not, how does it know to take the updated data from the right records of my dbf?

Can I UPDATE a cursor and not commit the changes? If yes, how?

Am I completly stupid? :) If yes, just tell me where to RTFM! :)
