While I dont recommend this for everyone, heres my 2 cents.

We installed Service pack 2 of Visual Studio and Also IE 5 Beta and
all the C000005 Errors are GONE. Totally. I now never get those
errors where I used to get them 3-4 Times an Hour.

It did mess up some stuff we were doing in Visual Interdev, but we have
since worked around that...

This happened to me 4 times in about an hour.
