Do you have a CONFIG.FPW file with SCREEN=OFF? Or do you hide the main form? If so did you forgot to unhide the form?

>I am a neophyte to Visual FoxPro and this web site but an old time procedural programmer so please bear with me. I have a very simple VFP application consisting of 1 form, a menu and 3 reports and have a problem trying to get it out to the users. What happens is, after I go through the setup Wizard, and install the application on a PC, everything appears to be fine. However, when I click on the application, it seems to start up (DISK ACTIVITY) but nothing (menu) appears on the screen. If I do a CTL-ALT-DEL, it appears as a task that is running but when I click on it, W98 gives me an error message saying that the program is not communicating, is busy or some other nonsense and your options are to END TASK or CANCEL. It runs fine if it is initiated in the VFP environment but the EXE doesn't work. DEBUG tells me that it is going through the MAIN program and starting the menu and it stops right after the READ EVENTS so that tells me that the programs are O.K. so it has to be
>something in the environment. I thought the wizard was supposed to take care of all that but apparently not.
