You can use the MSCOMM32.OCX control to provide an OLE interface to serial communications; there are examples of how to use the control availble for download here on UT, and in the MSDN documentation provided with Visual Studio, MSDN subscriptions, or available on-line at Microsoft's MSDN OnLine site.

Depending on the PABX system you have, there may be a TAPI interface, in which case a TAPI control would be more appropriate. Check with your PABX vendor regarding TAPI compliance and software.
