That may be true, but that is not saying that we all should learn two or more different languages. You're taking the standpoint that everyone must control or learn all aspects of software development.

We are growing towards a world that we must develop software in teams. This means that as a team you have to know about all aspects of Software development. When you've:
1 FoxPro Expert
1 VB expert
1 User Interface and/or help creating specialist
1 OS OR C++ Specialist
1 system/Analist
1 Goal oriented Specialist
You can make the most beatifull software.

Though i know bringing such a team together is not easy, I think it does not hurt trying to develop software in this way. When i think that VB (C++) does a better job in doing something, i'll ask a VB (OR C++) programmer to write it for me.

Here in the UT there are alway's a few guys who can help you with writing something !
