There are a number of different naming schemes around aside from the individual ones that individual developers use, if you see what I mean, but no 'standard' ones.

Steve McConnell has a section on naming conventions in 'Code Complete'.

However, it really boils down to choosing or devising a naming scheme that suits you and using it consistently. If other developers are going to be able to see & use the dource code, then you could add the details about your scheme to the documentation.
