I've bought a new laptop, Acer TravelMate 7100TE and very nice it is too. Pentium 233, 64 MB RAM etc. The only fly in the ointment is that FoxPro for Windows no longer runs. Before anyone tells me about the 'Divide-by-zero' or 'slowstart' I've tried those fixes but to no avail.

FPW loads but I get numerous 'I/O Error' messages whenever I try to do something. On startup this occurs when trying to open the resource table.

I've searched UT but didn't find anything describing this error.

I've also search Microsoft support site and not found problem.

Any ideas?
