I don't know about MetaFrame, but I've run plenty of VFP apps over WinFrame. On slow WAN connections, your users will likely not be happy with forms that have lots of VFP controls on them and that do frequent refreshes - VFP controls are not standard Windows controls, and as a result, screens are redrawn as bitmaps, rather than by passing calls to the remote client that update the controls on the client end. In general, VB or another product may provide a more acceptable UI if you're careful to select controls that are well-behaved; you can use VFP with thecaeats mentioned above, or can use VFP as a middle tier in an n-tier solution, where VFP's user interface behavior isn't an issue.

With a fast WAN connection, or with a little care in designing your forms to minimize form refreshes (judicious use of LOCKSCREEN goes miles), VFP apps do pretty well with WinFrame and WTS from my experience.
