This is an interesting little problem. We have a server based application written in FoxProw 2.6 and it has been running for two years without a hitch.
the system is a WindowsNT using DEC PCI network cards. The client recently added a number of Micron P-200 desktops to the network, and WALLA!
now users are getting the I/O error messages, but strangely only on the Micron machines. Other brands on the network, also Pentium - 200s are still working flawlessly. This is not knocking Micron, they build a pretty solid system, but this reproducable error which only appears ontheir equipment is mind boggling.
