>>>FPW2.6 runs fine on an AMD 333 processor. No patches. Also on an Intel P200.

>>I'm running FPW2.6 at home on a Cyrix 266, no problem. Also an app I wrote in FPW2.6 (my home mailing list). Maybe Dorris is thinking of FPD? Anyone help us here, is it ONLY FoxPro/DOS which has the fast processor problem?

>I think the problem appears on 333Mhz + CPUs. I've run FPW2.6 on my PII 266Mhz without any problem, but I've had a client who had the division by zero error with PII 333Mhz (with Foxpro Windows 2.6).

We have had to send out the fpw2600.esl patch to all our clients who are running CPUs that are 333 or faster - The patch adds in a 500 millisecond delay to allow FPW to catch up. No significant performance degredation has been reported.
but with this and the pentium IIIs coming out soon, plus Y2K considerations, you should strongly re-think your upgrade schedule to Visual FoxPro.

Relax, Boss. We will meet the deadline! What? You want to add MORE? What do you mean, Over Budget?
