Incorrect, the BoundTo property allows a combo to be bound to a numeric or integer field and have the boundcolumn's value used rather than the ListIndex of the combo. By default (BoundTo .f.) the combo, when bound to a numeric field will update the controlsource with the ListIndex of the selected item.

Try setting it and see what happens.
