I am experimenting with an Updateable view and have a simple question. My view calls in many fields from 6 disfferent tables and sorts on a field that is not the table that I am updating. I have a form that uses the view to bring up a set of records sorted and displayed the way the user would expect them. Table buffering is set because the user needs to work with the set as a group (adding records, modifying records, and deleting records from the group). The records are shown in the proper sort order because the view was set up to sort on the fields needed, but if the user chooses to add a record to the group. I need the displayed list to adjust itself and put the new record added in the proper order. Does anyone have any Ideas on how I could do that with an updateable view cursor?
