Already did that too, but did it again just now to be sure. The combo's ColumnWidth is the same as the grid column's Width, and doesn't change when the list drops down or rolls up. But here's a clue: the combo's Width property is smaller than the grid columns' width, but it's disabled in the property sheet in the form designer. Don't know what this tells me yet, but I'll keep digging. Thanks for your help.
