We've got this problem...

We have two network drives, F: & H:. For all practical purposes, there is no difference between the two. The network rights are the same for both drives. READ, WRITE, CREATE, MODIFY, etc...

We (currently) run two versions of FP (i.e., FPW 2.6 & VFP 6).

The problem just started occuring this week for no apparent reason.

I can create a new report, screen or menu on either drive.

I can modify on either drive as well. That is, I can issue the
MODIFY REPORT|SCREEN|MENU filename
command.

BTW - I am saving the file... so don't ask :)

However, if I modify the file (again) - the change(s) I made in the last step are absent. It doesn't matter what the change(s) are - they're gone.

I can modify the file on the H: drive and all changes remain intact when subsequent modify's occur.

The problem ONLY occurs with FPD 2.x and FPW 2.6 - it DOES NOT occur with any of the Visual Foxpro products. Other products that create and modify files such as Word/Wordperfect/Lotus/Excel continue to work fine as usual.

Any ideas??
