>As a side note, Scott, I was checking into MCSD classes and testing last August, and they would accept VFP tests in place of the VB tests. I'm in the same boat, with more VFP on my side than VB, but I would like to get certified in both, or either. Once you've spent enough years programming, it gives you the knowledge to analyze a system to decide what the best language would be. Limiting yourself to one language only decreases your overall knowledge, and you are making decisions without the benefit of having learned the advantages and disadvantages to another language.

Hey Brad,

You are correct, that VFP will work for the new MCSD track, but I don't think that there is any current test being offered. They are supposed to offer one sometime in 1999.

What you describe is what I'd like to be able to do. I think it just takes time and a lot of discipline. (Or is that discipline and a lot of time.) Nonetheless, if you read half of the threads on this subject you will see that people are split right about down the middle. It has been an interesting experience listening to everyone. There have been a lot of good points made...

Well, gotta go study.
