Just a wild, wild thought here. (I'm about the farthest person on this forum from an OS/hardware expert. :) Is this one of the early P90's with the math-coprocessor problem? Have no idea whether this would affect any aspect of VFP, let alone compiling an app, but when I see you mention you have a P90 ... that pops into my head.
