Mark,

As i stated before in this thread, I find it rather foolish to specialize in more than one Language. It's Far more effective to specialize in one Language and know the basics of one or two other lanuages.

I reagard myself as an expert in VFP, though i don't know much about MTS, and VFP and the Internet. The problem is that VFP is so wide, you must take a whole lot of time to master it. By the time you've done this, a new version comes out with new features and youre at the beginning of the circle. With mastering one language i wouldn't be too hard to do it, but with two or more languages it would be very hard to earn some money besides learning more languages.

So i know VFP very well, I know some of the WIN32 API, some of C++ , VB and ACCESS.

when programming, if you come to the conclusion that some (or all) things could be done efficiently in another language, you should :
1 - make it yourself
2 - Let someone else specialized in that language make it

I would go for number 2. if you don't have the quality to make it yourself in a reasonable time.

Regards, Walter
