Hi Geoff,
PMFJI, arsysd.dbf is just a copy of the ar record from sysdata.dbf. Each time that you exit the module, SBT copies that one record over into arsysd. Then if you ever have to restore your data files, before you ever go into AR, you would go to the system manager and choose to "restore sysdata records" Since the system files are usually in a different place than the regular data files, this allows you to not have to restore all files, just the data files for the module that you need. If you will look, you will see that there is one for each application (arsysd.dbf, apsysd.dbf,glsysd.dbf, etc.) Each table is only ever one record.
