As a warning: The docs on security Win32 API functions are poor and, sometimes, plain wrong. You have to guess what they meant, hack into the security to find out the truth, test a lot with all kind of situations just to get the real behavior of these functions, etc. I found it to be one of the most difficult issues on WinNT mostly because of the wrong docs. Anyway, if you dig into this domain, before releasing your software: test, test, test.
