The easiest thing to do is to record it to a file, and then do a REPLACE memofield from a character variable loaded up with the content of the file using FILETOSTR(); playback can work by extracting the memo to a temp file using STRTOFILE() and then launching the file using ShellExecute()

Alternatively, you can use a GENERAL field, use APPEND GENERAL to save the file and an OLEBound control on a form to play it back.
