It just strikes me as : an interesting business decision not to make a separate webbrowser.ocx file : and forcing one to use the full MSIE install. well, if you want your "webbrowser" just to diplay plain HTML than indeed use of a html.ocx is due but if you want it to support ActiveX,Jscript, Java, HTML3 ,all the file formats etc. etc. it makes much more sense to you the full installation instead of having a limited feature subset (btw there is another instance InternetExplorer with some more interface methods- look at the documentation in MS site) Arnon
