well, if you want your "webbrowser" just to diplay plain HTML than indeed
use of a html.ocx is due
but if you want it to support ActiveX,Jscript, Java, HTML3 ,all the file
formats etc. etc.
it makes much more sense to you the full installation
instead of having a limited feature subset
(btw there is another instance InternetExplorer with some more interface
methods- look at the documentation in MS site)
