If you make Web page with ASP in VFP coding,
ASP's ADO Stuff is not nedded.
All of ASP Coding and Syntax you can use. But DataConnection with ADO can't give us a good performance.
Really First, I used ADO Connection for Building Website. But ADO and VFP cannot match as ADO and Access or SQL.
So, I used VFP COM dll for DB Connection.
It's really give us a good speed and Good Performances.
SQL or Oracle DB can be also handled with Remote View and SQL STP.

Web Connetion(www.west-wind.com). I highly recommand. it's really good tool for VFP to Web.
But If you don't mind Web Connection,
I recommand ASP and VFP COM dll. It's Good works rather than ADO DB Connection.
